Case study: A 62-year-old female with venous leg ulcer for over 6 years of onset and recurrences, was referred by a vascular surgeon to get compression therapy to heal her wound.
Approach: We identified and addressed the factors impacting wound healing; worked in partnership with the patient, family, and primary providers. Over the period of 12 weeks, our team was able to manage the wound by implementing best practices and gold standard care.
