Case Study Testemonial

“It is a pleasure to share my experience of having Dr. Ide Costa as a wound care nurse. About a year ago I had a small trauma on my left heel that led to a big wound and became hard to heal, especially because of my advanced age, diabetes and the circulation issues in my legs. After over four months of trying a variety of dressings and other products with no success, a dear friend of mine came to visit me and suggested that I contacted Dr. Costa as she had helped a few of his acquaintances and relatives to get their wounds healed. My daughter contacted her and booked a virtual appointment (Figure 1)…Dr. Costa unique approach to wound healing made a great impact to my life. Every week I started to see improvements (Figure 2) including the decrease of my pain, which allowed me to sleep better and enjoy life again. In about two and half months (Figure 3) the wound was almost closed and I had no pain at all and in a few more weeks it was completely healed (Figure 4). My experience taught me that a small wound, especially in diabetic people, can become a nightmare and the delay to get to the right professional can prolong your suffering. Dr. Costa is a compassionated, ethical and knowledge wound care nurse and professional, who knows what it takes to get a wound to heal. I strongly recommend her services to anyone struggling with wound healing.”
